2011 is off to a start.. hopefully next week we can say a great start

So yes, I have realized I have not been the best at keeping up with this blog. It was much easier to do this prior to our little guy arriving and now its hard to find time to take a shower (don't worry we always do). LOTS has happened in the past year... where to even start is the story. Here is quick update on our life:
- August 2010 - Chase decided to take a job in Birmingham, AL
- Sept. 2010 - I told my job (they asked me to stay on until the end of the year)
-Oct. 2010 - We all officially moved to Birmingham (Vestavia Hills to be exact) and I worked from home and traveled back to Mobile two times per month
- Nov. 2010 - Hunter had tubes put in both ears (after 7 ear infections)
- Nov. 30, 2010 - we celebrated Hunter's first birthday (WOW he is all grown up and no longer our little baby)
- Dec. 31st - came with joy and saddness, as that was my last offical day at SG - truly bittersweet, but also wonderful as Chase and I celebrated our 3rd year of marriage
- Jan. 7th (tomorrow) - is the start and end of something else as well... crossing our fingers, I will ace my job interview with a wonderful organization and it will also be Chase's last day at the job we moved here for.
So that brings us to the question we are asked by many "why are you staying in Birmingham" well we believe God has a purpose for our move here and we are believing in faith. Chase will begin his new job on Monday - doing sales.
While we have experienced every change possible in the past year, that many people never experience or do by the time they are 50 (letting go of our past, moving forward - sometimes while kicking and screaming) - we are excited about the future and what God is doing in our lives. Every day our little boy is growing, learning and changing. He makes our life complete. We are now a family. Blessed, challenged every day and seeing how lucky we are after what we went through this year. We are not just hoping but working on making 2011 the best year yet!

Changes oh the changes...

So most recently our family has had a few big changes. Long story short, we have moved, I'm now working from home and Hunter is here with me, while Chase works for a new company. This is week one and so far, I have had only had a few break downs. As my mom reminded me, for Hunter the move and staying at home with me, is just as hard for him as it is for me. Last night he slept the whole night for the first time in ages!! So far I havent gotten much done, work or home stuff. I'm working on doing a daily schedule... maybe that will start tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be a fresh start... and hopefully I will also start blogging more... but for now I must go as Hunter is now pulling all of the books off the bookshelf!

Roll Tide Roll

As many of you know, Chase and I are big University of Alabama fans. I thought I should share a few pictures from Hunter's first Bama game! For the SEC Champ game we had to wear our team colors (Hunter's outfit is from my God Mother)... As Chase says Hunter is his good luck charm!

Roll Tide Roll!

Baby Butterbean is finally here!

Chase Hunter Webb joined our family on November 30, 2009 at 12:15pm. He weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and measured 22 inches long. Chase and I are so very excited to have Hunter here.

2 weeks and counting...

The real count down is really on... at this point I feel like I am going to pop! I'm already counting down almost to the minute. This time in two weeks (or less) - Hunter will be here. We are so excited. We (well Chase) set up the car this weekend & I finally started to pack my bags.
