Day 5

Family Dinners!  Chase works most nights and rarely do we have dinner as a family of four around the table at the same time.  Tonight was wonderful.. I was able to eat at my own pace, not rush around while shoving food in my mouth, just enjoy time with my boys.  So nice..  So thankful for my amazing little family!

Day 3

OoII'm thankful for Publix!  No matter what people may say it makes shopping easy and pleasant, unlike Walmart.  The staff is always friendly, even when my kids are screaming.  They not only bag my groceries, push the cart to the car so I can unload the kids.. They talk to my kids, bring them balloons when Fish is screaming for one, make funny faces so I can pay for my groceries and even run across the store when I realize at check out that I forgot milk. While prices may be higher, I love the BOGO deals and how much fresher their meat and produce is compared to others.  Overall publix made my day and I'm thankful for them making my days a little easier.
Balloon from publix (Fish was about 9 m here)

Day 2

I'm so thankful for Aunt Connie - she always finds a way to see the best in people.  She has taught me so much.  I'm incredibly thankful that she is apart of my life and my children's lives (they love her like a grandma)

30 days of being Grateful!

In honor of Thanksgiving, I thought I should share what I am most thankful for each day of November.  Since I originally was going to post on fb I'm a day late doing it here.  Instead of fb I thought my blog would be a better place and a way for me to look back later.

Day 1:  my husband.. Chase is my heart and soul.  He keeps me in check, reminds me what is important and loves me for the good and bad.  I'm so incredibly thankful to have such a wonderful husband, friend and dad to our kids.

Blog, posts, time...

So I always see the app in my iPhone for the blog but I never open it.  I've realized that the blog is the perfect way to "vent" without blowing up my fb with pointless entries.  So for anyone who follows prepare yourself as my blog is about to change.  Struggle of the day:  never ending laundry

Positive of the day:  Fishers smile

We Went to the doctor this morning and my poor little guy has a sinus infection and even being so sick he is still pretty happy.  My kids make my life worth living.  Some times Motherhood sucks and is hard but overall my kids are such a joy.  I'm one lucky lady.  So... Back to working on the endless laundry and packing....  Ugh

Thankful: Day 1

So with the holidays around the corner there is much to be thankful for. I always like to spend time during the month of November to reflect on a few of those most precious things.
Day 1: sleep - during this stage with a newborn we rarely get any. I truly cherish it. Last night our little guy went 7 hours, yes I said 7! Yesterday it was 5, 4 days prior it was 3. Rice makes a whole new difference but last night it wasn't rice. I believe trick or treating wore him out. He didn't have a rice bottle because we were at Chases aunt and uncles finishing up trick or treating when it was time to eat. With a solid 5 hours of sleep for this mommy I feel like a new person. Soooo thankful! Crossing my fingers we can do this every night!

Pee or not to pee

Went to check on hunter (as he had been outside for about 15-20 minutes) and he is waddling down the hill with no jacket or shirt and his pants and diaper around his ankles. He said he wanted to go pee pee as he was shaking from the cold air (its 54 outside). Maybe this is a sign that he is finally ready to potty train. Once inside I asked him what he was doing and he said I was trying to pee but went in my diaper and then he busted out in laughter.
This kid just cracks me up sometimes. I am thankful that none of my neighbors were home. Maybe this coming weekend we will attempt potty training again.
